Cadle School Council
Cadle Primary has held an established school council for over eight years. In this time the council have taken on new initiatives and have made many positive contributions to school life. These have included the introduction of golden time as a reward for good behaviour, the purchase of new wet play equipment and a water bottle scheme that ensures that pupils are hydrated during lessons. In addition to its work for the school, the council also gets involved in wider charity work. The school council recently raised money for Comic Relief. |
Election day!
The children from Year 1 up to Year 6 had to vote for 2 new councillors from each of their classes to attend the School Council meetings. The results were announced in assembly on 14th November.

World of Play Training Day
The children in School Council went to the World of Play as part of their training. They talked about what makes a good School Council member and they all made suggestions on how they could improve the school this year. They had so much fun!

The School Council decided that the school needed a new sign to welcome everyone into Cadle Primary School. The children have been working hard on making part of the new sign using tiles for a mosaic design. The mosaic sign has now been finished and can be seen in the school foyer.
