Cadle Primary School - A Vision for ICT

“Preparing today’s children for tomorrow’s technologies”

At Cadle Primary School we greatly value the contribution that ICT can make for the benefit of all stakeholders. It is to this end that our school enthusiastically embraces and utilises ICT throughout the whole school structure with the ethos firmly set on supporting learning and teaching.

As technology rapidly advances and so becomes an ever increasing part of our lives in society, we believe that all children should become confident and competent users of ICT, equipped with the appropriate set of skills that will prepare them for these changes, and in turn prepare them for the working world.

At Cadle Primary all stakeholders understand that ICT can enhance and extend children’s learning across the whole curriculum and that it can be used to help motivate and enthuse children’s learning whilst developing their communication and social skills.

It is with this collective understanding that our vision statement has been arrived at following consultation between staff, governors, pupils and parents and will be reviewed on an annual basis.
